Our Life as Missionaries as we Journey to Promote Music

Leaving your family for a mission is such a never easy decision. You are torn between two things that have weigh so much value. However, at the end of the day, you will really end up choosing one and momentarily forsake the other in this path your'e trudging.

This is true to our case when we were tasked to Dipolog for a mission last December. Though this one already happened last year, still I cannot help recalling our missions there and what we have to do in exchange of celebrating Christmas without our Families on our side. To most of us, it was our first time celebrating the season without them on our side. That's why inevitably there was a real feeling of sadness filling our hearts on that day. However, when were reminded of the thought that we are doing this for the Lord and not for man, then immediately we were ignited to pursue this calling from the Lord. We know that he is a great rewarder and indeed no single act is hidden to from Him.

That's why fellow steemians, allow me to narrate to you our mission there in Dipolog.

While we were travelling from the Port of Cebu to Dipolog City, we decided to play Power of Your Love on the ship while its moving. This is our declaration that indeed God will be with us in this mission.

It was a vision from the Mayor of Dipolog City, the man in the picture to have an orchestra in his city. He envisions that the youth of today would give their attention and redirect themselves to worthwhile things such as music than by just wandering aimlessly in the community.

We took a photo early morning on the ship as we now have our arrival at Dipolog City. There was 8 of us as the first batch sent for this mission.

Right after we arrived there, we were then immediatley asked to lead their Sunday Service Worship.

The 8 of us were also asked to play a prayer song here in the opening of this restaurant. By the way, the owner of this restaurant is one of the artist here in our national television.

We were asked by the City of Dipolog to render a worship Song on their Christmas Party. The title of the song is With All I Am.

Playing worship songs at Glorieta. One of the most visited entertainment area in the city.

The title of these songs are Kadosh which means Holy and You are Good by Kari Jobe.

We were then invited to Dakak Beach Resort by their supervisor to play and serenade their guest on the Eve of December 24. We are thankful to God that even the owner of this premiere Resort in the country Hannah Jaloslos the lady in Red is pleased to see and hear us playing.

At the Guest Area of Dakak Resort doing the set up and eventually serenading them at 9pm to 11pm with Christmas Songs.

We are here at this building where the big logo of Jesus Reigns towers infront of the City. Such a privilege to be here.

The Lord is indeed great to us. He made us have an overnight stay there at the resort which cost almost one hundred thousand but he made it free for the 29 of us including the second batch.

Indeed, life will only become real life when you touch and empower lives. Though such deed may require a little sacrifice, but when reaping the harvest, it will be the reward the sweetest of its kind.
