Music is what we are called for - Orchestra at Bethany

Last week we were invited by the Bethany Church to participate on their Vacation Bible School at Lahug Cebu City that was attended by Grades 1 to 6 Pupils from their school. For us, it was a very exciting and a very anticipated day, since we heard lots of great things about their church that made us all expectant and in great anticipation. And indeed, when we got to their place, we were all nothing but astonishingly overwhelmed by the beauty of their place as a sanctuary.

However, before we came up with our presentation on the said event, we went first to a thorough practice since we are playing messianic songs that have quite difficult arrangements.

So fellow steemians, let's have a look of our sweats out during this entire practice.

The violins and the woodwind section closely listening and examining their parts to the song.

Our Worship Leader, the girl wearing in blue has to clarify the specific parts of the song through hand gestures with the band. They're carefully monitoring each other to establish a symphony.

The band section tries to relax themselves amidst pressure by taking a pose. It must be grace under pressure.

The brass team makes careful control of their blowing to produce sounds that add weight to the songs. Their leader yugs is on the line reinforcing the melody.

These young violinists eagerly make a graceful bow of their string instrument. Truly they are an inspiration to those who want learn violin despite ages. By the way they are as young as 10 to 15 years old.

Not only they play their instruments but they also presented a dance piece which resembles the iconic story in the bible about the 10 wise virgins. Truly, when God blesses, it always beyond of what we can think of.

Right after the success of the presentation, we were all nothing but full of thanks and gratefulness to God cause of his blessing that was upon us.
We believe as a team that without the anointing of the Lord, our music is as good as nothing. That's why we give him praise and honor all days of our life.
