Great Music from My Youth - Prodigy Fat of the Land

Prodigy was an edgy electronic music band from the 1990s from the UK with an amazing lineup. The music on their 1997 release, Fat of the Land featured a mix of electronic riffs and great lyrics.

Fat of the Land came out when I was young, and was around when Radiohead and the Chemical Brothers were on the scene. The Prodigy is an edgy band, but is not really dark like many other bands of the day.

This album had some great videos featured on MTV when most of their content was actual music videos. Pop music in the 1990s was super commerical, and I preferred to listen to KNRK in Portland at the time that played alternative music including Prodigy.

Definately worth a listen today. This album has actually aged rather well.
