📻 New Curation Project with a "Spin!" | DSound Getdown 📻
Awesome New Curation Project
with a spin!I wanted to start broadcasting some live mixes via #DLive to start adding to the content and things to do while you are Steeming around. With all the restrictions around the internet, it really is a great place to do just this. Well, awhile ago I had an idea along these lines when I had first joined the community, but was in need of a good outlet. Now I have that outlet. Curating is a big thing here on #Steemit, so I wanted to do my part, but of course I had to do it my way. Since DJ's are pretty much knows as #music curators, what a different way to promote a niche of posts here on Steemit. So with no further ado, I present to you the weekly Curation Mixset Project by yours truly... DSound Getdown! Every Wednesday at 5PM CST!
The concept should be pretty straight forward, so I'm super excited to get started! Please, if you want your music featured and don't want me to miss it during my #DSound surfing, please feel free to link it here! I have been a live performance DJ for right at nine years now, and a matter of fact, have a double feature show this weekend at a local club! So, this live broadcast curation project will be a #live #DJ mixset featuring music published on the #Steem #blockchain via @DSound using @DLive as the venue! How cool, yeah? I humbly invite all to join us please! More the merrier! I will be working on posts discussing who will be featured and tagging credits, so on and so forth. So stay tuned for another segment from Ex•track Radio! 📻
Promo for this weekend that I made.
Maybe, if things are going smoothly, and we have enough bandwidth, I will broadcast tonight's set from The Club @ Live Bait on DLive! Thank y'all for swinging by and all the support thus far. This community has been inspiring!! Cheers, much love!
P.S.- Help me spread the word any way you can or want to, all is appreciated! #resteem #upvote #comment #tag THANK YOU!
Looking forward for it ;)
I like the idea, definitely something to pursue. The timezone doesn't work for me, but I can check out the sounds afterwards. I dabbled in some DJing (nothing professional) in the late 90's and early 2000's. Back when it was all vinyl. I try to keep up with the progression in electronic music, but I still enjoy the old tunes.
Great idea! Good to see that you are using both platforms. If you need more sounds let me know. Here is one: https://dsound.audio/#!/@danieldyemusic/20180303t170154976z-steemit-compilation-volume-4
Hope it goes well on Wednesday!
This is such a good initiative man! You are doing it right by curating music and appreciating those in the same field you enjoyed it.
Glad to see more curation projects are taking off on Steemit.
You are going to mix the tracks you like, and post this on to the Steem Blockchain? That is a cool project to run. You need the tracks to download I suppose. How do you plan to do that?
