Colter Wall has absolutely been on my radar lately. Like, I'm a huge fan of good song writing and this guy is just straight fire. Everyday for the last two weeks it's been my go to on spotify. If you're interested check out Saskatchewan in 1881 or Kate McCannon

Like I'm the most eastern boy alive but can't help but love that. Kate McCannon is a murder ballad about a miner that falls in love with his co-workers daughter and saves his money to buy her a diamond ring. In the end he finds her down by the creek with another lover.
