“Bade Zile,” by Afro-Haitian Experimental Orchestra … (Electro-Carib Funk / Afro-Beat / Futuristic Global Roots – Music to Your Ears–56)

It’s the kind of thunder that foretells a perfect storm of sound.

Afro-Haitian Experimental Orchestra – “Bade Zile”

“Bade Zile” (2016)
This joyous song blends various energetic and lively sounds from Africa and Haiti.
Rhythmic and Exuberant
“Bade Zile” features a backdrop of powerful natural beats that provide a smooth and subtle rhythm. Deftly layered on top of the polyphonic backbeat, we get perfect accents from guitar and bass, along with plenty of exuberant vocals.
Thunder to Your Ears

Afro-Haitian Experimental Orchestra
The Afro-Haitian Experimental Orchestra was planned as a one-off performance, initiated and promoted by the French Institute in Haiti.
Come Together, Across the Ocean
The institute’s director brought together Afro-beat pioneer Tony Allen and a wide cross-section of Haitian musicians. The plan was for the musicians to compose some songs together, and then perform them at a large public performance, which was to be broadcast throughout the island.
