My Friend is World Famous Now! With or Without You--covered by April Meservy at the Olympics

So my singer/songwriter friend April had a really sad breakup and it was difficult for her to move on. But she couldn't stay with him either. She felt like she couldn't live with or without him. A friend of hers convinced her to cover the famous U2 song to help her express herself.

Lightning struck, and the Canadian ice skating team snatched it and put their short routine to the song at the Olympics last night! Now, today, April's cover is on the top of the charts.

I was literally bawling through the whole ice skating routine, knowing she was sitting there in the audience watching the most talented couple make something so beautiful with her song. I am so happy for her to have this be heard by the whole world. She deserves it more than anyone I know.

She's so real, and heartfelt as a person. Just one of the nicest, most humble people you'll meet. And she's incredibly talented. I love her so much.
