Ray Charles / The Father of Soul Music
One of my favorite hobbies is listening to music, I feel a lot of admiration for the old school musicians, the classics, those who did not have much school because their talent was born, those who carried the music in their blood. Among those musicians:
Ray Charles

I feel a lot of admiration for this musician, for me it is an example that there is no limit for anyone who wants to fulfill their dreams, his full name was Ray Charles Robinson but only use for the artistic medium "King Charles" not to be confused with the boxer Sugar Ray Robinson, also called **The Father of the Soul ** was born on September 23, 1930 in Albany, Georgia, United States was a musician, singer-songwriter, composer, arranger, his genre music was Rhythm and blues, piano blues, sour, blues, sour blues, jazz, country, gospel, also possessed a powerful talent in piano, keyboards, alto sax and to add more talent had a unique voice was baritone voice type lyrical.
Undoubtedly one of the most relevant figures of black music of the twentieth century and During his musical career was awarded twelve Grammy awards.
Personal life
The most impressive and inspiring thing is that at 7 seven years old I am blind because of glaucoma, (according to the diagnosis of the ophthalmologist doctors for the time). It was not an easy life, because being a person of color, blind and poor could have surrendered but it was the opposite and it was not an impediment in his artistic career. He studied in Florida, in an Institute of San Agustín, and from a very young age he participated in different musical events. Charles always showed an interest in jazz and blues although in school what he learned was classical music. He learned to read and compose music through the system Braille.
Braille is a tactile reading and writing system designed for blind people. It is also known as Cecography
Ray Charles was married twice, his first wife was Eileen Williams and he married in 1951 in which this union did not last long and he divorced the following year. His second marriage was in 1955 with Della Beatrice Howard Robinson and this union lasted until 1977. He had a total of twelve children from ten different relationships
Artistic trajectory
Always looking for excellence in 1948, he founded a trio called McSon Trio (also known as Maxim Trio). But it was in 1953 when he began his recording career when he was hired by agent Ahmet Ertegun, introducing him to the company Atlantic Records since then he was one of the rhythm & blues figures, he had unquestionably talent, played and sang with renowned musicians for the time and in the middle of the decade of the fifties, Ray Charles, by not being satisfied with the music of the time, managed to go beyond the limits of his blues gospel synthesis and began to fuse blues, gospel and swing, besides imposing to his rock and roll music, they called him El Genio. All this he did with the company Atlantic.
One of his songs that took him to the top was I got a woman in the year 1954. Then came other great hits such as Hallelujah or I love her so, in which he introduced as a novelty the electric piano in rhythm & blues bands. Within its music it included one that another feminine choir (las calls The Raelettes) where they excelled Mary Ann Fisher or Marjorie Hendrix. The fifties were very successful for Ray was so much his fame that he had international projects with jazz musicians very recognized among those who stand out with Milt Jackson also triumph in various charismatic festivals.
