The new Evanescence album, Synthesis is...

...like what Evanescence was supposed to be about, circa 2003. Amy Lee's voice, wrapped in strings and electronics. This album really brings out her old songs in a new way. Call it an Electra-cestra type of feel. I am only half way through it but if are not new to Amy Lee and the group, Evanescence, then you need to be re-introduced to a new group.
