The Mystery of Death Dimebag Darrell Killed on the Stage
Dimebag Darrell is a former Pantera guitarist who was shot during a gig. This event occurred in 2004 when Darrell was performing with his band at Damageplan, in Columbus, Ohio.
Dimebag Darrell got three shots from a gun of someone named Nathan Gale and the shot was pointed directly at his head and killed him instantly on stage.
Darrell is buried with an original Eddie Van Halen "Bumblebee" guitar and uses the KISS band coffin. It was his post with Pantera, the band he formed with his brother Vinnie Paul in 1981.
Pantera decided to break up in 2003, and then Darrell and Paul formed the band Damageplan.
