Night Song Festival // Student Days 2018
On 5th was the last day of the Student Days. It ended with singing our hearts out and maybe some even lost their voices. Show started at 9 p.m and ended bit before midnight. Lots of loved songs were sang: starting with "Tartu marss" (Tartu's march), finishing with "Kodulaul" (Home song), between old summer hits and songs that can be heard in any other Song Festival.
This year there was more people than last year. Maybe the reason was the weather, which was warmer and better this year. Maybe it was something else. Festival was at Raadi Snowpark, like last year. Before, 2 years was at Festival Arena and before Arena, it was at Kassitoome park, the "massive" hole in Tartu near Toomemägi. This was my 6th year taking part of Night Song Festival. It's been cool to see the progress from Kassitoome to Raadi, what kind of new songs has been added to list and what's still same, different singers and musicians, also different people.
Speaking of musicians and singers, 6 singers and 4 instrument players, a choir from University of Tartu. We got to hear a new song that had cool title: "Mis kuradi kohas ma elan" (What kind of damn place I live in), kind of a "sad song" (just like the lyrics were). Song was written by Aapo Ilves, who really writes a great songs, and Festival's guitarist Paul Neitsov.

Even though I was standing on one place and really didn't move around, but I saw people around me, who enjoyed the festival. They were dancing, drinking (as always) and singing as loud and wrong as possible. Looking forward for it again next year!
