Music 4 life Goa#1
Today I start a new series of blogs, for my englishspeaking fellas.
It´s about my favourite music genres and stories how I got into them.

GOA aka Psytrance
A long time I didnt like that type of music, cause it was too monotonous for me and I sorta hated it.
The first time I heard that kind of music at a festival called beatpatrol. It´s a festival for EDM and I have been there for the DNB and Dubstep arists. At some time there was a break from the things I wanted to see and I went to another floor.
The decoration was pretty awesome, psychedelic how it is called, which I learned years later.
So I listened to the music and it was way too fast and I couldnt stand it, it gave me instant earcancer. So I left it behind and this genre was kinda dead for me.
Servereal years passed by and I have been to Amsterdam. So you know what happened there and I would say things changed in my brain. I would describe it as a new connection, new links build up and get a different view on things.
I dont want to glorify it, I got friends that got addicted and doin like nothing, but get high.
Back to the story, so I got high with my friends serveral times and then they started to listening to Goa.
First I was like fuck not that shit again, but then I was like hmm it´s not even that bad.

Since 6.Nov last year his new album Psycic Waste been out.
I havent heard a song from it, but Ill do it now, because in 9 days he is coming to austria and I am going to his concert with my friends and some steemians like @nicoletta and hopefully @mammasitta.

Schön, dass du erkannt hast, wie gut Goa ist! :)
Kannte das Genre schon sehr lange (noch lange vor seinem Hype, den es seit 2 Jahren hat) aber es geriet wieder in vergessenheit, bis mir eine Freundin "Vini Vici - Free Tibet" gezeigt hat.
Wenig später ging dieses Lied viral, es wurde in sämtlichen EDM-Clubs gespielt und viele Mainstream EDM-DJs sprangen auf den Hypetrain auf (z.B. Timmy Trumpet).
Ich weiß nicht ob du das Gefühl kennst, wenn man sich "besonders" fühlt, weil man ein geiles Genre kennt, das nicht jeder kennt und dann plötzlich wird es überall gespielt und kommt im Mainstream an und es fühlt sich irgendwie nicht mehr so besonders an...
naja, zum Glück gibt es einige Underground-DJs mit sehr guter Goa Musik, auch richtig gute Goapartys fernab vom Mainstream, da fühl ich mich dann doch wieder ganz wohl :)
hab auch weit vor dem Hype begonnen es zu hören, aber im Mom wirds ja wirklich hart mainstream, hätt ich mir nicht gedacht^^
Hab highlight tribe in der Stadthalle gesehn, war so schön :)
yes genau so is es, ich sag das so oft zu meinen Freunden sie verstehns nicht... aber ich freu mich, dann dass sie sichs anhören und feiern und ich Leute hab mit denen ich mir das geben kann :D
