The opera

It is a theatrical musical genre in which an action in the theater is harmonized by an orchestra. It is sung and has orchestral-instrumental accompaniment. The presentations are usually in opera houses and their art is part of traditional European classical music

The opera is a work of dramatic and musical art in which the actors express themselves through the action of singing. In the play the action takes place in the moments in which the singers tell the story and on stage the characters express their feelings and thoughts. There are several genres related to the opera, we have the musical, the zarzuela, and the operetta. opera is one of the most complete works of art that exists.

as in several other genres of musical theater, it joins:

1. The music that is composed by orchestra, soloists, choir and director.
2. The poetry that is composed through the libretto.
3. Performing arts, especially acting, ballet and dance
4. The scenographic arts that is composed of painting, plastic arts, decoration, architecture.
5. Lighting and other scenic effects.
6. The makeup and the costumes.
   
   There are several elements and people that give form to an opera: there must be a composer who creates the music, the librettist who is responsible for creating the dialogue, the performers who are the lead singers, accompanying singers and the orchestra with its director, and those who work in set design and costumes.
   
   The opera was born in the Florentine salons in the country of Italy at the end of the 16th century. It arose from the need to turn into a spectacle the kind of simplified, organized and strictly defined art offered by all kinds of arts such as visual arts, stage art, history, etc. The one who planted the foundations of future operatic works was the operatic composer Claudio Monteverdi, this cultural activity had outstanding composers such as Alessandro Scarlatti, Jean Baptiste Lully, Wolfgang Mozart, Ludwig van Beethoven, Vincenzo Bellini, Richard Strauss, Claude Debussy.
