Today in Music (September 18th)
What interesting new songs or albums were released or were topping the charts on September the 18th in the history of music? What has happened on this day in the music universe? I apologize in advance that my view is quite narrow since I only know and follow western music.
We will be brief today. Three had a hits and that’s it.
In 1988 Bobby McFerrin had a hit with “Don't Worry Be Happy”.
In 1983 Billy Joel had a hit with “Tell Her About It”.
In 1966 The Association had a hit with “Cherish”.
Please remember that these artists and songs are my personal choices and are not always what you would consider a great hit. OK, most of the time they are.
