HOUSE MUSIC Track Of The Day #6 - Dajae - Brighter Days (Haji & Emanuel Remix)

Welcome to my House Music Track of the Day series! Every day I will post a different house track, new or old, that's really got me feeling the groove. Serving you classic, old-school vibes, 90's/2000's primarily, with an emphasis on Deep House, but could be a little bit of everything.

If you follow me you know I do a weekly college radio house music show so I've spent the last two years finding the best of the best - I have a fantastic back catalogue of sickening tracks to share with you all!

This track is near and dear to my heart, being one of the first true house songs I ever heard, years ago. This is the classic deep house Dajae - Brighter Days (Haji & Emanuel Remix)

The main repeating bass-y synth is just so infectious. This harkens back to a simpler, fun time where the rave was truly underground and the LGBT influence in house was strong. I'm sure the original bumped throughout the 90s and this remix from the 2005 release as that legendary scene began to shut down would've rung only too true. This checks off all the classic deep house boxes - a timeless vocal from Dajae, a catchy deep synth line, bumping bass, and a classic old school sound. This will be part of my catalogue forever and never fails to put me in the mood.
