RE: THE TRUE STORY OF THE DEATH OF KURT COBAIN
This is emotional, Drugs are a waste of time. They destroy your memory and your self-respect and everything that goes along with with your self-esteem. They're no good at all, i love cobain, continue to rest in peace cobain
Actually, if you read the article, it sounds like drugs played a very minor role, if any, in his suicidal ideology.
I read the article and drugs definitely played a huge role in it. He had just left rehab for drug addiction. His highs from performing no longer filed the empty hole so heroin became a substitute for it. He was a chronic junky and no doubt that played a part in his mental health.
all in all, drugs and depression are closely tied. depression is the overall killer but opioids and heroin will surely not help out at all. Being a musician, I understand the scene (not in entirely) but most people I meet perform to get away from their problems.. also while on drugs. well hey, whatever helps. you only have one life. Do as you please
I'm also a musician and have seen first hand deaths from addiction. It's a tale as old as time. I agree depression is the overall killer and I would like to add its because of the sensitivity to the world around them creative types feel the worlds depression more than most. However some make the mistake of thinking the depression belongs to them rather than seeing it as a symptom of a broken culture. Keep on rocking in the free world!
Could not agree any more!
Rest in piece curt cobain .awesome vocalist.
loved his all songs.
i love this quote!
A very truth!
True. But the point you are missing here is "addiction"; which means total loss of control. That is above everything else. Once it gets a hold there is no going back. Kurt was in a spiral. His death was inevitable. Sad. I find it incredible a legend from my generation is a legend to generations decades on even though he was an out and out junkie. Drugs will never take that away from him. It was a honour to grow up in his shadow of greatness. Nirvana were/are one of the greatest bands ever. If you are young and missed it back in the day look them up...but avoid the drugs m'kay.
yeah good advice. I think the next generation is really gonna see the negative effects of drug abuse, and I hope never start. I've seen entire communities destroyed by it. Addiction is a horrible affliction I never had a problem with it I hope neither does anyone else in my family.
Addiction is barely a blip on the radar compared to the damage done by prohibition keeping these things illegal. We need legal taxed and regulated drugs so people aren't in prison for choosing to put something in their body so the drugs are safer and labeled properly. Repeated studies show that 90% of drug users across the board are moderate users who are only loosely habitual.
Bulllshit I kicked!!!
Don't let emotion fool you guys, drugs have their place in society and if had drugs been what killed Cobain, the take away message should be we need to legalize tax and regulate these substances.
But here's the thing, drugs DIDN'T kill Cobain. The details in this story are actually not wholely accurate. The stool was NOT propped against the door, the guy that found him said so, the police on the scene said so. Watch "Soaked in Bleach", the details of this case all add up to one thing: someone made it look like a suicide, but they did a really bad job. The angle of the gun was simply impossible, the amount of heroin in his system was so great there's no possibility he could have handled a firearm afterwards. The suicide note was fake, in fact they matched pieces of the note to his own diary notes where it was clear someone had traced pieces of it together, and here's the kicker, Cobain's body was found a week after he was dead. The PI investigating his disappearence checked Courtney Love's house including her bed for evidence, the note she claimed to have found under her pillow was not there the night before body was found, meaning it wasn't put there by Kurt at all. Feel free to google around and fact check me, it's all verifiable. Kurt Cobain was murdered, by someone. Seeing as Courtney Love repeatedly lied about it, signs point to her.
Kurt Cobain Kurt Cobain Kurt Cobain...Where to start? Or did he FINISH that time he shot himself??? I really think that he was aiming to make better lives ($ wise) for his daughter Frances an wife Courtney Love. Thats all I have to say on the matter because he was a true legend, kind spirit, THE BEST front man and lead guitarist, Artist and from what I can only take from photos a GREAT father and Husband not to mention son. Thankyou
He killed himself man...just listen to the lyrics the guy was singing ...ahem...Quote "I'm buried upto to my neck" "look on the bright side suicide" "married , buried" Thats all I need to know!!!
Okay but when people bring lyrics like that up he always said it's just art. In fact months before he died people asked him flat out if he was suicidal and he said absolutely not, he just likes writing about dark material.
But put that aside and look at the facts. The amount of heroin in his system would make it physically impossible to handle a gun. The shell casing was on the wrong side. The room was not barricaded. The suicide note was 100% forged and Courtney Love lied about where and when she found it. Also, Kurt was planning to divorce her according to several friends. AND the PI who was hired to investigate his disappearence has endless logs of her showing no interest in the entire event beyond money. What would you say is the most likely conclusion?
