What is Choon?

Not a musician? You can still earn NOTES!
You can earn NOTES by making a playlist of songs and sharing it with your friends. A lot of the artists will share their revenue with playlist curators as an incentive to get their music heard.
I've been using the platform for just under 2 months and really enjoy putting my music out there, seeing that people are actually listening to it and getting rewarded with NOTES every day!
How much is a NOTE worth?
Although NOTES are not yet trading, the last going price on the one day ICO which got cancelled was for around 5 cents per NOTE.
They are expected to start trading some time in September.
How will Choon be viable if they are letting people listen to music for free and paying musicians?
Fair question. Free music streaming is an introductory feature and will not always be free. They will start offering a paid plan when they have enough music in their catalog.
The money they are paying musicians and playlist curators is money from investors who are betting that the platform will succeed in the future. That's great news for musicians who can earn money today from their music and it's also great news for consumers who can listen to a lot of different music for free.
