Music nowadays is shit. But that doesn’t mean you need to hear it! Whenever I’m in gym, people are listening to such absurd sounds that I can’t help but put headphones in my ear and have a treat from “The Clash” and “Led Zeppelin”. And for you, I’ve also got gems today to melt your soul.

This song is written and performed by an English musician John Lennon. It is the most hit single of his career. The song lyrics are phenomenon, encouraging the listener to weep for this world and dream for something better outside of our social and moral barriers. The song genre is Pop or something close to Soft Rock. But real magic is in the vocals of John Lennon.

This song is by an Irish Rock Bang U2. It is from their 1991 Album “Achtung Baby”. This song was a breakthrough for the band in their difficult times. It is a Rock song. Its lyrics interpret the topic of disunity though it can also be thought in different ways. The song topped several charts and also peaked at number 7 on the UK Single Charts.

One of the best Rock Songs ever.

This song is by an American-Canadian group called The Band. It was released in 1968 on the group’s debut album “Music from Big Pink”. This song’s lyrics are enigmatic with magical results on the listeners. It tells the story of a man who visits a strange town known as “Nazareth”. Its genre is somewhere between Rock and Country music. Its legacy is never dying.

This song is written, composed and performed by Bob Dylan. It was released in 1965 on his album “Bringing It All Back Home”. The song genre is Folk. The lyrics calls on to Mr. T M to play a song and with it a spectacular narrative flows. The song has become extremely popular for its beautiful imagery. One more version of this song is extremely popular by Byrds. Though I always preferred the Dylan’s one.

“Johnny B. Goode” by Chuck Berry

This is a Rock&Roll song written and performed by Chuck Berry in 1958. Its lyrics tell about an illiterate boy who could play a guitar “Like ringing a bell”. The song was an instant hit among both black and white audience at the time. This song has been recorded by many artists of different genres like The Beatle, Jimi Hendrix and John Denver to name few.
