New Song~~~~

Hello, everyone ^,,,,^ How are you today? Hope you're having a productive day.

I have a new song I wrote. I was so excited I recorded a rather sloppy demo.
Pardon the sound of the drums. Couldn't figure out how to make it a little more bass~y. And it was getting so late, I just sort of slapped it together. A second draft is coming soon. A more refined one.
I can hear the lyrics now. So excited to write it.

The general narrative is someone who's given up and thinks it's too late to accomplish their dreams. Nothing saddens me more than an extremely talented individual who shuts their work in the room they spend so much time in, instead of sharing it with any many as possible to obtain the recognition they deserve. I'm not trying to suggest one should always make a buck doing what they love... {whether it's music, painting, writing.}

I suppose what I'm trying to say is it's easy to isolate yourself and perpetuate the notion your art is a hobby and nothing more. Not worth sharing with other people.
I know what that's like because I've done that my whole life.
I know many who, in some way or another, are holding themselves back. And I try to encourage them to put themselves out there but I always get the same shit:
It's too late. I'm not good enough. I'm too old.

So, this song is for anyone who has or does feel that way. Because it's bullshit.
You're never too old. It's never too late.
