Afrobeats has come a long way and we're really proud to see it this global and what does it have

To do with this post you might think, well Ed Sheeran's Shape of you is number1 most streamed song ever on spotify, with Drake's One Dance co written by afrobeats crooner Wizkid who was featured on the Billboard topping single coming 2nd on the spotify most streamed song.

Ed sheeran admitted to being inspired by the afrobeats sound and even came down to Ghana to shoot a video for a song produced by Ghanaian producer killbeats. We've seen artists like Burna Boy and Wizkid sell out o2 arena in the boom of afrobeats and hopefully afrobeat artists are here to stay and have become a force to reckon with and finally afrobeats would get the recognition it deserves and we'd see afrobeats take the center stage because the wave has literally come to us.

I personally am a rapper but respect FELA and his legacy and would like to see respect accorded and afrobeats ontop of things worldwide, on top of streams and streaming platforms.
