RE: The day I became a fan of the Foo Fighters
Hey @jalayn
I'm totally with you on this. Your description is spot on about the way the band perform and I believe these guys are something special.
I have been to 4 of there gigs now but the latest was two weeks ago at London stadium. They have got even better as musicians and, like you have mentioned, performed lots of other stuff along with their own tracks.
Dave is an amazing front man and involves everyone at their gigs. Even if you are at the back you still feel involved and a part of it.
Thanks for sharing the details of both gigs. That must have been horrible getting sent home, gig cancelled and soaking wet but if there is one thing the Foos do well, it's give you value for money.
Cheers, Gaz
Thank you very much! You are totally right, I felt involved from the beginning to the end of the show. The 2.5 hours just flew by me, and I wish I had taken more pictures... But the most important is the emotion, the vivid pictures in my mind. And we had so much fun, it felt like you were at a bar listening to Dave Grohl's jokes, except the bar could accomodate 80000 people 😅
I really hope to see them again in the future, hopefully with my wife this time!
Cheers!! 🍻
Once a Foos fan, always a Foos fan! 😁
I hope you get to see them again soon.
