Music/Helmet Contest - Helm Software Synth - Win Liquid STEEM
Hello Creators! Put on your HELMETS, it is time for a new music contest. Let's make some music with the open source software synth "Helm."
I recently completed a series of video tutorials on how to use the free, open source software synth "Helm" for @utopian-io. At the end of this post is a full list of all the Helm tutorials for you to use to help with creating your music. Everything you need to know to make music with Helm should be there, but if you need more help, put it in the comments and I will do my best :)
Create Music Using the Helm Software Synth
Rules:
- Your music must be at least 30-seconds in length and no longer than 1 minute.
- You can use Helm by itself or Helm along with other instruments and vocals. But remember we are looking for you to highlight Helm. So make it prominent in your music.
- You need to export the patches you use in Helm and send them to me. Here is a tutorial on how to Save & Export in Helm. Send patches to "andrewm AT nfld DOT net."
- Submit a link to your music in the comments below.
- Submit a selfie of you wearing a HELMET. The more creative, the better ;)
- All contestants must submit both a piece of music and a HELMET selfie.
- All pieces must be originals. All HELMETS must be on your head.
- DEADLINE for entry is Monday Jan. 15th
- We will announce the winners on the Backstage with Bucky radio show on Jan. 16th (click here for show details).
Prizes
- 100% of the payout of this post will be split equally to ALL contestants who take part. EVERYONE'S A WINNER!
- The most impressive piece of music using the Helm synth will receive an additional 5 liquid STEEM
- Second place will receive an additional 50SP delegation for 2 weeks
- Most impressive HELMET selfie will receive an additional 4 liquid STEEM
- Second place HELMET will receive an additional 40SP delegation for 2 weeks
- First and second place pieces of music will be featured on our "Backstage with Bucky" MSP-Waves Radio show on Jan. 16th.
