Full Metal Haggis in blazing sunshine
An amazing weekend is over.
The North-East of Scotland saw its first ever open-air metal festival.
Helping out on the shuttle bus and the merch stall was an absolute pleasure. The weather was stunning. The venue, Deeside Acitvity Park, is just perfect for a small festival.
The local bus company, Stagecoach, even put on a special bus for us.
The crowd came in slowly in the early afternoon on Saturday...
... and it got busier as time went on.
When we wanted some time out, we went for a walk in the forest...
... and explored the tank. Yep, a real tank - one of two on site.
We could savour food from local farmers and, of course, there were savage cupcakes.
Can't wait for the next festival at Deeside Activity Park at the end of the summer.
