T/RAP ITA/ENG | RITORNO AL PASSATO - ANALIZZIAMO "SECONDO MEDIOEVO" DI MEZZOSANGUE

Sono abbastanza nostalgico per quanto riguardo questo genere,
così ho deciso di aprire questi brevi post in cui racconto il significato,
a volte nascosto, di brani che mi stanno o che mi sono stati a cuore.

Oggi ho scelto un brano che nonostante gli anni passati è molto attuale,
SECONDO MEDIOEVO di MEZZOSANGUE di cui vi lascio il testo a fine post.

Decima traccia del primo mixtape del rapper romano Mezzosangue, Musica Cicatrene pubblicato nel 2012.

[PRIMA STROFA]
Mezzosangue in questo brano parte diretto senza giri di parole,
analizzando in rima la società che in quei giorni e in quegli anni lo aveva circondato.Parlando di come ormai siamo in un tempo in cui la gente pensa solo al denaro ed è sempre più pieno di ragazzini viziati che desiderano tutto senza però capire il vero valore delle cose.
Esprimendo poi, con la frase "L'era del banale,del trash e della noia..."
la sua poca speranza verso ciò che lo circonda, dove ormai non ci sono più stimoli a migliorare se stessi. Dove, come detto nel testo,
"L'ignoranza è un vanto e un ideale è una vergogna", parlando così di come oggi se hai un sogno/obbiettivo/opinione fuori dal comune vieni visto come uno stolto e spesso deriso perchè insegui ancora i tuoi sogni.
Racconta anche di come le ragazze di oggi usino troppo spesso
il loro fascino e le tentazioni degli uomini per ottenere ciò che vogliono,
"Questa è l'era di bugiarde ma dagli occhi dolci" non capendo quindi più
chi è che dimostra veramente l'amore e chi invece mente.

[RITORNELLO]
Tutto va giù, facendo notare come si sta andando verso il declino
e, invece di fermarci a pensare e cercare una soluzione,
acceleriamo sempre di più fino a deragliare come un treno.

[SECONDA STROFA]
Mezzosangue non riesce a trovare conforto nemmeno nella chiesa.
Facendo notare come un semplice sacerdote che sta seduto su una sedia
guadagni quanto una persona che si spacca la schiena in fabbrica,
nonostante lui non abbia nessuna famiglia da mantenere.
Mezzo però non si riferisce a tutti, ma a gran parte della società.
Dicendo che sono tutti finti e uguali, che pensano solo all'apparenza,
alle donne viste in tv e al calcio, scordando le cose importanti della vita.
Lui però non è così, di fatto preferisce stare solo come un cane randagio
e non come un cane addestrato che viene ricompensato per ogni
ordine eseguito che viene impartito dal padrone.
Padroni che fanno riferito ai politici, che vengono messi a governare
nonostante spesso siano i peggiori esempi di civiltà.
Conclude affermando che questa non è più l'era della calma, anzi,
dovremmo incazzarci e cercare di fare qualcosa per cambiare le cose.
Inoltre dice che non bisogna stare ad aspettare che qualcosa accada,
in quanto qui "Il futuro te lo fai o te lo fanno", ma bisognerebbe
costruirsi il proprio futuro da soli e con le proprie mani.

I'm pretty nostalgic about this genre,
so I decided to open these short posts where I tell the meaning,
sometimes hidden, of songs that are of me or that have been to my heart.

Today I chose a song that despite the past years is very topical,
SECONDO MEDIOEVO of MEZZOSANGUE of which I leave you the text at the end of the post.

Tenth track of the first mixtape by the Roman rapper Mezzosangue, Musica Cicatrene released in 2012.

[FIRST VERSE]
Mezzosangue in this piece begins directed without censorship.
analyzing in rhyme the society that in those days and in those years had surrounded him. Talking about how we are now in a time when people think only about money and it is increasingly full of spoiled kids who want everything without understanding the true value of things. He then expressed, with the phrase "The age of banal, trash and boredom..."
his little hope for what surrounds him, where there are no more stimuli to improve oneself. Where, as mentioned in the text,
"Ignorance is a boast and an ideal is a shame", thus talking about how today if you have a dream/goal/opinion out of the ordinary you are seen as a fool and often mocked because you still pursue your dreams.

who is who really shows love and who lies.

Everything goes down, pointing out how you're going towards decline
and instead of stopping to think and look for a solution,
we accelerate more and more until it derails like a train.

[SECOND VERSE]
Mezzosangue can't find comfort even in the church.
Pointing out how a simple priest who is sitting in a chair
you earn as much as a person who breaks his back in the factory,
although he has no family to support.
Half, however, does not refer to everyone, but to much of society.
Saying that they are all fake and equal, that they think only of appearance,
to women seen on TV and football, forgetting the important things in life.
But he is not so, in fact he prefers to be just like a stray dog
and not like a trained dog that gets rewarded for every
executed order that is given by the master.
Masters who refer to politicians, who are put to govern
although they are often the worst examples of civilization.
He concludes by saying that this is no longer the era of calm, indeed,
we should get and try to do something to change things.
He also says you don't have to wait for something to happen,
because here "The future you do or do it", but you should
build your own future on your own and with your own hands.
