Musical Training for Children - (Day 1)

Hi Steemains, I’m so happy to achieve the aim of today’s training. It was fun with the kids. I am happy they made up their mind to learn music in a Godly way.

Since today is the first day of the training, we were having an introductory class to music. We talked about music, musical instruments, kinds, benefits, and how to maintain them. Also scale (major scale or diatonic scale) was introduced to them. They were taught of their sounds and symbols as in (d: r: m: f: s: l: t: d). Thereafter, the musical instrument where shown to them and most importantly, how to maintain them and the benefit of playing an instrument was taught. Some of the maintenance and benefit are:

Maintenance

• Keep your instrument in a cool dry place
• Do not expose it to sun rays.
• Do not rough handle the instrument.
• Keep away from liquid
• Clean your instruments regularly.
• Cover your instruments after usage.

Benefits of Playing Musical Instrument

• It helps to build and improve memory
• Playing instrument helps to reduce stress
• It creates job opportunity
• Its helps to build confidence
• Playing a musical instrument helps to improve social life.
• Also, it helps to develop the sense of time management and achievement.

The training was done by two teachers. My Pianist (Fortune Bassey) and Myself. I am happy for the responds from volunteers who wants to join with me to impact on the life of this young generation. I don’t have silver nor gold, but I pray God’s blessing upon their lives. Amen.
