I've often looked for this (as well as Dryad's Saddle & Turkey Tail). I'm not usually lucky.
I'll have to research those ones I'm not acquainted with them
Dryad's Saddle s'pose to be quite filling and taste like steak apparently. Also known as 'Pheasant Back'.
Turkey Tail is medicinal, immune system modulator and anti-cancer properties.
We call those Wood Ears or Tree Ears. They're supposed to be delicious! Great photo. Thanks for sharing!
I would have never have thought they were edible till I googled it earlier! Don't think I am brave enough to eat one though
Oh me either! I've heard of people adding them to soups...they say they're kind of crunchy and that does not sound appealing.
