Keep Calm and Eat On (#5)

Here is another post under my Keep Calm and Eat On Series, just to whine about the issues I am facing for my pregnancy. And, I thank you for reading ahead of time, if you are too kind to read on, lol.

Why am I so tired?

This whole pregnancy thing is already such a trip for me - physically and psychologically speaking. I am constantly feeling tired. Oh wait, I meant extremely tired, like I have no energy to even get up from my couch, let alone to walk from the living room to the kitchen.

Apparently, hormonal changes contribute to exhaustion for pregnant ladies. But I mean, other common pregnancy discomforts must also play a role. For example, it's really hard to get a good night sleep as I don't know what to do with my big belly - I can't sleep on my back, nor can I sleep on the side for long. And, let's not forget about multiple trips to the washroom during the night.

My back 'pain' so much from the heavy bump (my baby apparently is huge), and I found myself waddle without realizing that I am doing it. This is bad! How can I not mention my baby's sudden kicks from time to time, causing pain to my surrounding organs. There are a few times, I actually cried. But, I don't blame my little guy as he has no room to move around either - my poor baby.

I guess, I am also feeling anxious about my pregnancy. The constant worries about my baby's health (which obviously is my number one priority) can be draining too.

Adding up all these factors, it is no wonder I feel as though I have run a marathon by the end of the day. I am really starting to lose all my steam.

I have heard that heartburn, leg cramps, or restless legs syndrome would likely occur during the last couple of months. Wow, I am really looking forward to that and I wonder how am I going to cope?!

Keep Calm and Eat On

On that note, I tell myself to keep calm and eat on. I didn't have the energy to make dinner and so we indulged in some Chinese Food delivery (Yummy). I love dumplings and I feel a little better after eating them (hehe).
