3 YouTube Personalities with 1.6M subscribers join my radio show last night!
@theywillkillyou BOOYA 1M subscribers, @davidpakman KAPOW 400k subscriber, @brianturner BOOM 200k subscribers. On top of that we had a fantastic audience and rounded out the show with our very own homegrown stars from PALnet, the Minnow Support Project, and even some visitors from neighboring groups!
I'm really excited to bring you this show because we're trying to talk through what it's going to take for us as a community to be able to bring YouTube content providers here and start getting a glance of what is needed on and off the block to make this transition happen.
We also have a tentative date set right now for January 13th for a 5M YouTube subscriber panel discussion. The plan is to get YouTube Personalities and Steem folks together to build a community of YouTubers on the block to help ease the transition by having a community to work with. I'm excited to see where we can take this!

Hi @aggroed I think that you gave an incorrect answer to @davidpakman. The amount of steem that is produced is "fixed". It's a percentage of the total supply that declines over time. It is not a function of the marketcap. Steem Dollars on the other hand can fluctuate because it depends on the price feed of the witnesses.

It was a pleasure listening! Here's another way of saying what Aggroed did in answer to your question about the amount of Steem being divided amonst the users:
Since the Steem earned can be used not only as a currency but also as Steem Power, the sheer increase in number of eyeballs at Busy/Steemit will make Steem Power that more useful as a promotional mechanism, that can be used for ads or simply for your own blog.
This means that advertisers, bloggers and speculators will be likely to buy more of it and as a consequence drive up the price.
@aggroed this very smart initiave remembers me when @elear mentioned the famous Steve Jobs Phrase. Those who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, they really do it.
And this initiative is very similar in comparison to the leverage that Steve Jobs thought to be able to put almost all Apple products in the eyes of the world. He promoted the ipod, and this was greatly saw by teenagers, students, and then the Apple Stores had the ipods, but also Macbooks, and other Apple products that were nicer, and easy to use for everyone.
In this case, the youtube communities with bloggers are already built, we just have to show them their is a new disrupting product on the block which is the steem blockchain with steemit and other front-ends were their time could be really worth much more, and were no account freeze is possible, and so on.
