Media has become nothing but a propaganda machine and the best bet is to believe the opposite of most of what is spewed.

Been a bit under the weather for a few days and have been watching IT more than usual, and not feeling much like talking here or anywhere. Even when feeling like shit, I have a curious mind, particularly when it comes to mind-hive think. (FYI, on the mend!)
I stopped watching Bill Maher a few years ago, to my mind a total sell out to the establishment agenda, but watched a bit of his segment tonight. He had Chris Christie (what a name?) on tonight, someone that I recall had tried to entrench himself with the Trump administration, but was booted, the consummate fat and sassy politician.
So he and Maher and the other guest were discussing the situation where a professor of chemistry was let go from NYU because his students claimed that his class was too difficult. Yes, he was old, on a one year contract, but he also had been considered extremely esteemed and competent in his field, and now let go because his class had become too difficult.
So Christy becomes indignant that he is paying about $150,000 per year for two of his kids to be in college, and admits that they are not being properly taught anymore. The Horror!
And the audience, of most likely average working class people, (who are lucky if they get paid even somewhat close to enough to keep up with inflation, and won't be for much longer) erupted into applause (pretty sure there was a flashing "applause" sign) in total acquiescence at his outrage.
Seriously, people, can't make this shit up. What a clown show. Actually, these days, if I want to just watch late night comedy, I prefer Guteld, except for the fucking commercials! At least he throws in some real zingers from time to time.
Oh, and don't you just love the commercials? Most are pharmaceuticals which will cure whatever presumed or imagined or real ailment you might have. Especially the long disclaimer of all the side affects that you might endure while the actors smile happily in front of your eyes because they have been "cured".
Funny that we were not warned at all, on any commercial, about the potential side affects of that, you know, mandated thingy that has destroyed lives and livelihoods of millions?
Bill Maher is probably the only self-identified liberal with a balanced approach. His "new rules" usually point out the absurdities on both sides
