What Are Solid Tumors?

Solid tumors are abnormal mass of cells that grow in the solid organs of the body such as breast, liver, lung, prostate, etc. The major difference between solid and liquid tumor is that - Solid tumor form multiple masses of abnormal cells that grow in any organ of the body, whereas the liquid tumors occur in the hematopoietic system.
