Why Zack Snyder is Superman
Hey guys, so many of us thinks that Batman V. Superman was a train wreck but for me it is a work of art by the one and only Zack Snyder (“Dc’s worst Villain”) well he’s not. As you can see the Superman he made was a cultural appropriate character. He showed us how a SUPERMAN would fit in our society and how people reacts to bizarre things. He also gave us the consequence of being too powerful and different. And while watching the movie it gave us a question and it is to decide whether Superman is a hero or not? and by the end of the movie we’ve all seen his sacrifice which became harder for us to choose. In Batman V. Superman, Snyder showed us how Superman faces different Moral Dilemmas from choosing who to die and when these people die which technically says that he isn’t a hero. You see he is a vigilante in the cinematic universe he never was a law enforcer. He never graduated as a cop, soldier nor a security guard. In this article I’ll also include that this movie showed us that superman can’t save all people (As seen on the U.S Capitol scene). we also saw how he struggle with his human side or as Clark Kent from him asking for his mother’s guidance, his relationship with Lois Lane, and how he miss his father (Jonathan Kent). Zack Snyder’s Superman has a huge difference with Richard Donner’s Superman which is a Superman that everybody wants and adore but the problem is it isn’t how our society reacts to a SUPERMAN. Richard Donner’s Superman is also struggling with his humanity but he handles it in a way in which he wants to be human or as a normal person, powerless, quiet and peaceful. This superman always had the chance or time to do his job as a hero from saving cats on trees. To cut the long story short Christopher Reeve as Superman gave us hope during dark days while Henry Cavill as Superman gave us the reality during dark days. So for me Zack Snyder’s Superman is what we need during this time of darkness.
