1001 movies before I die: The Passion of Joan of Arc (Review)

If you saw my post about thee book "1001 movies you must see before you die". You'll know that I am atempting to watch all 1001 movies. This is my review of The Passion of Joan of Arc (movie #41)

The Passion of Joan of Arc 

Now I didn't think much of the movie when I watched it. For some reason it didn't appeal to me the way it seem to have done for others. If you look at the movies IMDb page you'll see that it has over 30,000 votes and a score of 8.2. It's one of the more popular movies from the silent era and it seem to be one of the more enjoyed one but I did not enjoy it. One thing I will say that I enjoyed is the performance of the lead. 

The lead gives a great performance, dare I say one of the best. Well i'm not going to say the best but if was really good either way. I think the movie is worth watching on her performance alone, but other than that i'm not to intrested. Now the performance isn't gonna make me watch the movie again.
