1001 movies before I die: The Eagle (Review)

 If you saw my post about thee book "1001 movies you must see before you die". You'll know that I am atempting to watch all 1001 movies. This is my review of The Eagle (movie #25) 

The Eagle

Don't really have much to say about this film. I didn't love it but I didn't hate it at the same time. This movie didn't do much for me. It's claim to fame and why the movie is in the book is because of it's great comedy, but personally I don't see it. I would have rather seen another movie. Even though there have been movies that I didn't like very much they have a good reason for being added. But with this one i'm stumped. 

I'm not saying this is bad filmmaking, otherwise it wouldn't have made it into the book. You shouldn't think that just because the movie is in the book it should deserve a spot there (personally that is). If most people think this movie should make the cut, then that's how it is but that doesn't mean i'm going to agree.
