From your description that sounds very interesting, two different type of persons and seeing them together it is easy to see the that even today no matter where we live we still feel that we, human still could be very sensitive to the topic of different races and nations. For movie makers that must be also very thin ice, to talk about that in their movies, they still need to stay neutral but not too serious, touch hot topic but may be to show from the humor point of view.
