Great review! Although as I haven't read the books so I don't know what I will be missing, the trailers looked meh. According to IMDB the movie was directed by a dude named Nikolaj Arcel, who never directed anything good, because Ron Howard would have done a good job or a better one. Also the biggest problem that this film and so many other face is that it is written by Akiva Goldsman, who hasn't written anything good since he got his Oscar. He writes good lines, but not plots. After The 5th Wave you think people would stop hiring him, but nope. I am still going to stream it for the actors when it will be available :)
