Hi Steemit!

It's been a really long hiatus and I am not sure how to start again and get going on this platform.

So how have you all been despite everything that's going on in the world amidst this covid pandemic?

As for me, I have been working form home eversince prior to the epidemic. Around March to April, it had been a bit slow for our company but I was still working, although I felt like my stomach dropped a bit as I thought that I could lose my job any time. I was just blessed that my boss was very optimistic and she kept me working until last week.

Nope. I was not kicked out or fired!

It was my birthday last June 27 and as a birthday gift, my boss gave a whole week of paid vacation. She said I could take it whenever I feel like it. Too bad there's pandemic so I could not go out of town. But then I just decided to take it this week. A sort of STAYCATION, nonetheless!

So what I did since the weekend was binge-watch on some Korean dramas. I watched Itaewon Class and Park Bo Gum who had a cameo role on the last episode caught my attention. I know that he is big star in South Korea and I just realized that I have only watched one movie of his with Kim Go Eun which was entitled Coin Locker Girl. So, I decide to google him a bit and randomly picked Reply 1988.

My two cents. I DEFINITELY LOVE THE SHOW! I'd give it a 10 out of 10.

A story about family, friendship, love and what life was like for the characters back in 1988 and then time lapsed to the future. No wonder this was said to be a hype back in 2015-2016 with great reviews at that. Among the Reply installments, this is the only one yet that I have finished. Not sure how good are the others but I do hope they are as great.

I instantly became a fan of Park Bo Gum because of this. Go Kyung-pyo was also a part of Coin Locker Girl and I have watched his medical drama before so I am pretty sure that he's a good actor. The other actors and actresses looks really familiar and they are all amazing in this drama. I am bad with names but I really applaud their acting skills -- from the leads to the supporting characters.

If you have not watched this yet, then I highly recommend. If you are Korean drama fan, then it's highly likely that you are already done watching this a few years ago! Good for you. :) Anyhow, if you reached this part thanks for the time. I just wanted to share my delight that I have not really put to waste my entire week vacation. Right now, I'm off to google another one that I would potentially enjoy binge-watching for the next few days before I get back to work.
