RE: The Book of Eli (film): Top-tier apocalypse film
the way the world was shown as so dreary appealed to me, but i think that "the Road" would actually rate higher on my scale of believable apocalypse films. Eli did have over the top moments such as "where are the fuel and machine guns coming from?" and what not. Not to mention Oldman didn't have enough fuel to pursue Eli, but he had more than enough fuel to drive all the damn way to the Golden Gate bridge without issue.
In that regard "The Road" was far more believable because it showed that everyone had damn near nothing, including empathy.
Oh i have to watch The Road. Huge fan of Viggo. Been putting it off and forgetting about it for years. lol. Looking at the trailers its a much more grounded take on post apocalyptic world.
