In ancient Greece, where shadows lie

Some submit, while others take their stand in line

Against the hordes, in Thermopylae's pass
A small band, against the enemy's might and mass

The film's a spectacle, of sword and sandal flair
With cinematography, that's beyond compare
A tale of bravery, of freedom's call
A hero's story, that stands tall

But history plays tricks, and films take flight
A legacy born, of a legend's light
Frank Miller's work, a graphic novel's might
Inspired by the film, in the dark of night

Zack Snyder's adaptation, a new tale unfolds
Of a hero's legend, forever to be told
But the original film, a piece of art so rare
A historical epic, with a story to share

A testament to skill, of a director so bold
Rudolph Maté's work, a story to be told
Of a film that failed, to impress the crowd
But left a mark, on a legend's cloud

The 300 Spartans, a film so grand
A hero's story, in a distant land
A tale of bravery, of freedom's call
A legend's birth, that will forever stand tall.
