A tale of intrigue and deceit unfolds,
Where foreign policy and power collide,
Hollywood's lens reveals a world of strife,
A mirror to the dark, where truth is hid.

The Right or Left, a tale of two worlds,
Where war and peace, by party are swayed,
The same policies, by different views,
A double-edged sword, in Hollywood's played.

George W. Bush, a name that sparks debate,
His Middle East pursuits, a target for scorn,
Syriana's tale, a political thriller,
A movie born from Fahrenheit's burning scorn.

Gaghan's vision, a complex web weaves,
Characters and plots, a tangled maze,
A world of oil and power, where all converges,
A story told through many eyes, in various phases.

Clooney's sacrifice, a beard and weight gain,
A commitment to art, that earned an Oscar's acclaim,
Yet, only one award, a single victory,
For a film that demanded more, in its narrative.

Gaghan's direction, a story untamed,
A narrative that struggled, like a beast unclaimed,
Sloppily edited, scenes unclear,
Characters and plots, that left the audience impaired.

A symbolic tale, of fathers and sons,
A theme that overshadowed the film's true thrust,
And in the end, a finale that fell short,
A spectacle, that left the viewers lost and forlorn.

Syriana's success, lies in its complexity,
A niche audience, that understands its intricacy,
For the masses, it's a confusing tale,
A movie that seeks to teach, but often fails.
