Poetic Film Review: Saving Silverman (2001)

In the world of comedy, Saving Silverman stands,
Three friends and their Neil Diamond tribute band.
But trouble arises when love comes into play,
And Judith's manipulations lead them astray.

The humor is sharp, the cast is strong,
But as the film goes on, it starts to feel wrong.
Cliches and unlikeable characters appear,
Leaving critics and feminists sneering in fear.

Despite the flaws, there are moments of fun,
And R. Lee Ermey shines as the coach on the run.
But the film's downfall is hard to ignore,
As it stumbles and falls, leaving audiences sore.

In the end, Saving Silverman falls short of its goal,
A comedy that starts strong but loses its soul.
With a rating of three out of ten, it's clear to see,
That this film, while entertaining, just wasn't meant to be.
