Poetic Film Review: It's All About Love (2003)
In the world of cinema, a tale was told
By Vinterberg, a story bold
"It's All About Love" they named the show
But expectations were not met, oh no
A futuristic setting, a world in despair
John and Elena, a couple to care
But the script fell short, the plot a mess
Leaving viewers confused, in distress
Apocalyptic events, a conspiracy revealed
But the film's flaws could not be concealed
An unfinished script, a lack of depth
Turned tragedy into unintentional jest
Bright colors, special effects in vain
An irritating score, causing pain
Claire Danes' language skills, a miss
And an overlong runtime, hard to dismiss
Sundance premiere, a critical blow
Vinterberg's reputation, sinking low
It took years to recover, with "The Hunt" in sight
A lesson learned, in the harsh spotlight
So heed this warning, when creating art
Craft your story with care, from the heart
For a film that lacks love, will surely fall
And leave audiences, not enthralled.
