Review: "Commuter" Liam Neeson (Spoiler Alert)

I went to the movies last weekend and my friend and I decided we wanted to see something exciting so we chose "Commuter" with Liam Neeson.

This was definitely an intense action thriller. This 60 year old ex - police officer who is down on his luck suddenly finds himself in an unbelievable mess. It was a great story and had lots of fight scenes and one scene where he is nearly run over by the commuter train but then amazingly manages to get back onto the train before it speeds away.

I have to admit that as a 50 something person, I could not get out of my mind that this character was a 60 year old man, and Liam Neeson is probably older than that! This character goes through severe fight scenes, he is stabbed, he nearly gets his head cut off, he manages to go through a huge derailment of the train and LIVES! Now, I don't think I would have had the energy to even walk back and forth through the length of the train as often as he did, let alone go through all of this mayhem. Granted he most likely had a stunt double for the heavy stuff, but GREAT BALLS OF FIRE!

So in the end this movie just made me feel old, fat and slow. Liam, my hat is off to you!
