John Krasinski appeared with his latest film: A Quiet Place, where he collided acting with his wife, Emily Blunt. Featuring an animal-like monster, this horror-thriller genre film shows a tense silence.

A quiet Place synopsis:

The silence that makes terror in A Quiet Place is already able to enjoy the audiences of the country. Cinema CGV Blitz aired this horror movie since Tuesday (3/4/2018).

In the post-apocalyptic era, an anonymous family lives in rural New York. They have to live life in silence because of being hunted by super-fast aliens. Therefore, in order to survive a family must be silent at all. If anyone makes a sound, they will die.

Krasinski and Blunt serve as parents for two small children: a very frightened boy and a perpetually frustrated teenage girl. The frustration of the girl could be because she had never been allowed to shout or whine in her life.

As shown in the trailer, the Krasinski family survived longer than their neighbors thanks to their knowledge of sign language. Most of the dialogue in this family was done using body language and facial expressions.

As strong as any ability of this family member to survive without a sound, their lives remain in danger. This is worsened by the condition of Blunt who was carrying a baby. The process of childbirth and newborns can not easily enter into a lonely world.

Quoting Vanity Fair, the success of A Quiet Place is visible from the way the Blunt and Krasinski couples pour their fears about raising children into this thriller action.

"Just like the most successful horror films, A Quiet Place has more to say about humans than its monsters. Primarily invested in the ways these families fail to communicate, their most basic needs are each other. "

Krasinski's role as a director has gone through two previous films: The Hollars family-independent comedy and Brief Interviews With Hideous Men. He never works with material that presents something scary than the psychological suffering of ordinary people.

"I do not even see many horror movies," Krasinski said in an interview with Vulture.

A Quiet Place, however, says Krasinski, giving him the opportunity to address some of the issues that can personally arouse fear. Because, the idea in this horror film just appeared later when Blunt, his wife, was pregnant with their second child.

"The early days of being parents are frightening, hoping you can keep your child alive and safe. So the theme of the film was present in my life while I was reading the script, "said Krasinski.

"I thought I could take the material somewhere that was emotionally appealing and made it really scary."
