THE MULE (2019): Discover the Meaning of Life at the End of Age
A simple drama with meaningful dialogue. This is the content of a film that has been packaged in the crime drama THE MULE (2019). For those of you who like a brutal criminal side, maybe you will be disappointed, you will not find it in this movie. When an old man who has lost his way because of bankruptcy from his flower garden business, his family does not accept him because he is considered too busy with business and forgets the side of life that is full of family and happiness.
This movie tells of a grandfather named Earl Stone (Clint Eastwood). He was a flower businessman who went bankrupt and lost his way, trying to get up by accepting an offer to become a drug courier. At first, I thought it would be easy to guess the storyline of this film, it turned out I was wrong, twists and turns built by the director (Clint Eastwood himself) it feels very winding and can’t be guessed easily. Ah, this is a new sensation for me when watching. In addition, we will find lots of meaningful dialogue quotes in it.
Enlivened by the Stars
Do you feel that you will see one man shoot in this film? No! The Mule also stars famous actors and actresses with very impressive roles, there are Bradley Cooper, Laurence Fishburne, Michael Pena, Dianne Wiest, and Andy Garcia. Everything is so fun. And, I myself felt strength in the old figure who was played by Clint Eastwood. Even though he walked slowly like an old man usually, but the strength he had was amazing.
The character (besides Eastwood) that I like in this film is Bradley Cooper, he plays a police agent who almost feels hopeless because he cannot uncover criminal cases from a drug cartel. For me, the presence of Bradley Cooper as a police agent has made The Mule feel more fresh. You may also love him.
Encouragement for Those Who are Desperate
For those of you who have experienced a “quarter life crisis,” you can watch this film, I’m sure you will find a real way of life, and you need a family that wants you. I’m a person who doesn’t like mellow drama, but this film has made my tears fall.
The end of the film feels very fun and encouraging, you deserve to watch with friends and family, there is no sadistic side at all in this film. In fact, the story of this old man’s journey in rediscovering his side of life and regretting his crime is not too late, even though at a very old age, he rediscovers his loving family. I emphasize again, this is a story about life choices, between work and family which must be one of the problems in everyone’s life. Happy Watching!

At one time, I was looking forward to the premiere of this film. The play of Clint Eastwood and his direction is always top notch. Each of his great work carries a certain meaning, answers to complex questions, raises painful topics, for example, about honor, family, love and honesty, but Eastwood talks about this in his own, understandable language for many people.
His new film is another reminder that it’s never too late to admit and correct your mistakes.
Really! a touch sometimes does have to be slow, the slow story of this film is captivating. I love Clint. Thanks for dropping by @extractum-lunae
