THE SLEEPER SELLER (English Version)
Who has read or heard about the book "The seller of dreams" written by Augusto Cury and adapted to film. I really have not read the book, but I had the opportunity to see the film a couple of days ago, and my humble opinion is that it is very good and I really recommend it.
The film is of the dramatic genre, directed by Jayme Monjardim, and was released on December 8, 2016, originally from Brazil. Its cast is made up of Dan Stulbach, César Troncoso, Leonardo Medeiros, Stella Freitas, Thiago Mendonça, among others.
His synopsis tells that when the renowned psychologist Júlio César (Dan Stulbach) decides to end his life, he crosses paths with an indigenous sage (César Troncoso), who prevents him from committing suicide. Júlio then joins the group of followers of this unlikely guru who calls a deep understanding of life, decisions and new beginnings, but also the blind spots of a plot in which the wise person is the character himself confronting the past, his ghosts and the danger of a real threat.
In my opinion, this person is one of those films that likes the kind of education and the environment about his life, where the main character shares love, shares his recipe for everything he accepts and does not expect him to do it in one place to do it. It is one of those stories that confirm that the whole person has the right to have dreams and illusions, why, that they know what to expect, so you should not miss a day to show them. It's one of those stories where love and friendship are used as fuel for life, where it does not need to be full of luxury and money so that the seas are happy and transmit a positive message to others, and see life in a different way .
