The Predator - My Movie Review

The Predator (2018)- The forth instalment (excluding the 2 Alien vs Predator movies) of the Predator franchise is lunatic, messy and suspense-less.

Lunatic because 70% of the casts are literally playing lunatic characters ; Messy because instead of the usual suspenseful and thrilling predator setting, it incorporated way too much jokes and funny dialogues (many a time not really that funny) at the expense of proper plot and characters development. At the end, you don’t really care whether any of the character (not even the main casts) will survive the slaughter or not.

Luckily there are still a couple of bloody dismemberment scenes (from the killings) that reminded me this is a predator movie. It’s rated M18 in Singapore.

In terms of the casts, all are giving mediocre performances and nothing to shout about.

If you are a predator franchise fan, I believed you will be disappointed, and if you are not, I don’t think you will ever be one after this.

Note : there is no post-credit scene, so don’t waste your time waiting.
