(Dial M for Murder, 1954)
" Dial M for Murder " is a film directed by Alfred Hitchcock, who made Frederick Note's play into a movie. Since it is a movie directed by Alfred Hitchcock, " Dial M for Murder " is also a mystery.
Since " Dial M for Murder " is a movie version of the play, it is extremely dramatic. There are not many characters in the movie, and the story of the movie takes place in the living room of Ray Milland and Grace Kelly , the main characters of almost one indoor space. One scene, " Dial M for Murder, " explains Tony's plan to kill Margot to the CA Swan (Anthony Dawson), and it's like two cameras in a high room.
The story of " Dial M for Murder " begins three years ago in 1951, similar to " Strangers on a Train, 1951 " by Alfred Hitchcock. As it happens, Guy Hines, the main character in Bruno's " Strangers on a Train, " was a tennis player in order to kill his father, " Dial M for Murder, " and Tony is a former tennis player on the train.
Tony, who has quit tennis and manages to earn his living as a sports item salesman, has taken CA out of prison to kill Mark Hammings, an old classmate and mystery novelist in Margot. Tony attends a social gathering with Mark for his alibi, and at that time, he lets the CA kill Margot. However, Margot stabs CA in the middle of a physical fight with his sword trying to strangle him, and he falls backwards and is stabbed to death. Tony skillfully drives Margot to be a murderer, and in the end Margot is sentenced to death in court. However, Inspector Hubbard (John Williams) knows the secret of the key to the house, which will be a crucial clue to the truth of the case.
" Dial M for Murder " was originally made into a 3D movie. Many people know James Cameron's Avatar (2009) as the first 3D film, but in fact, 3D movies have been around since 1915. However, as the 21st century entered, 3D films began to become popular due to the development of film technology. And with the worldwide success of Avatar, almost all films are made into 3D movies today. But when you watch " Dial M for Murder, " you see scenes that seem to be directed by Alfred Hitchcock with 3D in mind, and the most famous and famous scene is the battle between the camera and the CA. If you look at the scene in 3D, you can feel a three-dimensional feeling as if Margot is reaching out to them for help. Also, the scene in 3D, in which Tony explains to CA the plan to kill Margot, gives the audience a feeling of being able to see the real play in the theater's second floor.
In " Dial M for Murder ", Grace Kelly of Margot Mary Wendy's Entertainment, along with director Alfred Hitchcock, has made a total of three films - " Dial M for Murder, " and " To Catch " (1954). " Later, she married Monaco's prince and became Monaco's queen, but personally she thinks Grace Kelly is the most elegant actress of all time.
Director Alfred Hitchcock always makes a cameo appearance in his films, giving audiences the pleasure of finding themselves, and Tony, although not in ' Dial M for Murder, ' shows them a picture of him to the CA.
Good review, but it reads sort of like a rough draft.
I don't really get any emotion out of it, and it leaves me confused as to how you personally feel about the film. :)
sorry because my mother tongue isn't English, you may feel it as a rough one. I'll try better. thanks for reading my writing.
