Some fans of Netflix’s popular series Black Mirror are only just realizing why the title of the show is as such.

If you don’t already know, ‘Black Mirror’ refers to “the one you’ll find on every wall, on every desk, in the palm of every hand: the cold, shiny screen of a TV, a monitor, a smartphone,” explained creator Charlie Brooker in a 2011 interview with The Guardian.
