Sir Silvernova Travels To The 80’s Cartoon Multiverse in .... Masters Of The Universe

Welcome to Masters Of The Universe, a continuation from the famous Steemlords writing game/adventure/carnage, bought to you all by the famous #teamaustralia. This is the continuation of the adventures of Sir Silvernova as he finds himself in a strange new land ..... and strange new body.

Sir Silvernova awoke with a jump.

“What the hell happened there!”

He looked around, his eyes still dazed and blurry. The sun bore down on his head and the wind whipped his hair around. There was a voice ringing in his ears, he recognised the voice but it seemed different somehow. 

“Silvernova, we need you in our Posse. Heed this call and make your way through the portal.”

“Hmmmmm” he thought to himself, “That sounds like Sir Pheli, but there is something different about him.”

He remembered back to the events of the past few days. The Rangers had arrived at their destination, only to be taken completely off guard by Sir Knight.

Sir Knight had unmasked himself, revealing his true Identity ...... He-Man. A rugged looking chap with muscles to boot. “Steemlords, We need your help to save the Universe. There are dark forces gathering and we need hero’s like you all to join the fight against them.”

Most of the steemlords followed ‘He-Man’ through a strange portal, disapearing from Middle Steem with absolutely no trace. 

This had unnerved sir silvernova, so he had decided to pack his pipe and clear his mind a little.

It seemed that he had packed a little too much in his pipe, and must have driven himself into a bit of a coma. 

It had been quite a while since he had been conscious, and the strange voice in his head seemed to break him out of his comatose state. There seemed to be no one around at all, Middle Steem seemed a little ........ empty. He decided that if his friend Sir Pheli needed him, he should make an effort to find him and anyway, there did not seem much keeping him in Middle Steem anymore.

He made his way up the stairs that lead to the mysterious portal, it glowed and spiralled in a captivating pattern. It seemed a little daunting but having an alchemists mind he was rather intrigued about what awaited him on the other side. With a big breath, Sir Silvernova stepped his right foot forward and proceeded to fall into the portal........

....... tingles flooded his body, the feeling of muscles ripping apart flooded his thoughts. His body was tugged, pushed, pulled and then ripped apart. Molecules swirled around in a muddy pool of consciousness, and his mind was filled with thoughts and memories of distant worlds and universes. 

Little Bears with cute cuddly tummies, little blue creatures wearing little hats and singing some song about Smurfing their way through life, some scared dog yelping Scooby Scooby doooo, some guy called Banana Man, a Little mouse with an eye Patch calling himself Danger Mouse, some Little Ponies and even more more strange and wonderful characters flooded past his eyes. 

He tried to focus his thoughts, and this seemed to help. The spinning feeling he had in his stomach started to ease, memories of another life filled his mind.

As things started to settle, he was aware that this was in a completely different Universe .... A Multiverse of characters bought together by the events He-Man had spoken about.

Memories flooded his thoughts, memories of different planets, hyperspace and saving the Galaxy from the evil Queen. 

He was now Shane Gooseman ......Galaxy Ranger. (Goose to his friends)

To his side was his trusty CyberSteed - Triton. Triton was a top of the line, state of the art CyberSteed, the only 5000 model that he knew of. Triton was one of the fastest Cybersteeds in the galaxy.

Goose remembered the implant in his brain, the one that enhanced his Genetically Manipulated DNA. Through the use of this implant Goose was able to heal instantly and his DNA was able to adapt and shapeshift his body fit into any environment. Although not quite a METAMORPH (A metamorph can shapeshift into any form at will) Goose was still a shapeshifter of sorts but it was his modified DNA that called the shots on what shape and form he would take, to suit any environment or situation he found himself in. 

Trained to be a super trooper, Goose was a crack shot with anything that fired bullets or energy blasts and he was also a top spaceship pilot to boot.

Goose jumped onto his trust CyberSteed Triton and they headed off towards a congregation of interesting characters that he had spotted in the distance. As Goose approached, he noticed a couple of rather dangerous looking giant turtles, armed to the teeth with ninja weapons. One of the turtles was wearing a red Mask/bandana thing around his head, and for some reason Goose knew that this was where he was supposed to be. After introducing himself to Raphael and Leonardo, he quizzed them about the situation. There was a strange feeling that he all ready knew why he was here, but the details were rather fuzzy.

Raphael informed him of the quest ahead of them, that had been laid out by the powerful Quest Master Julia of Castle Grey Skull. They were to head North towards Windemere, taking care while traversing the swamps found in the Vile Marsh. There seemed to be a battle looming as the evil Mosquitor and Leech were building an army of evil swamp creatures and these foes would have to be met with violence and ultimately some deadly carnage.

Raphael informed Goose that they were awaiting the arrival of @edthecanadian before commencing their travels, which suited Goose. He was feeling rather tired at this point and it seemed like his body had been subjected to some rather intense shape shifting recently, luckily his DNA enabled him to recover almost instantly from whatever carnage his body had just gone through.

Stay Tuned to See how the Posse of Two Giant Turtles, A shape-shifting Galaxy Ranger and the infamous @edtheconadian (who may turn out to be some transforming robot/car) go on their dangerous travels through the 80’s Cartoon Multiverse ... Eternia.
