Motorcycle Travel Series by @velimir 'Electra Glide' (Part #211)
Electra Glide
It is quite a cold day. In between rides, I love to frequent Bojan's workshop and drool around the bikes which he and his crew are working on. People are aware that his work matches highest quality standards and therefore many come from far and wide to get their bikes customized. Bojan is providing top of the line service and yet never minds me nosing around. Thank you, buddy!
This particular Electra Glide 2011. belongs to a fellow from Austria. Bojan's workshop is the right place for whatever this baby needs and therefore the owner brought it here all the way from Klagenfurt. It is a bike for serious distance travels and I would say there are only several other models that could match the comfort of the enjoyable ride on this one.
It is also super-comfortable for the passenger, as the backseat is more of a recliner than a motorcycle seat. Don't you just want to grab the keys and ride off into the sunset? :D
Strong loudspeakers guarantee the absolute pleasure of listening to loud music while covering miles of roads. Not sure if something really aggressive and wild is recommended. This, along with a long list of specs, could be another reason why the shiny monster would be the choice for elderly gentlemen, not hotheaded youngsters. It doesn't say anywhere 'restricted to anyone under 50' but it may just as well, trust me. :D
The insanely rich dashboard reminding of a pilot's cabin will definitely take away attention from the road along with your breath. At least until the initial feeling or riding a powerplant subsides one should force oneself to follows the road. It is anything but a starter model. Nonetheless, I knew a guy who bought it as his first bike. I thought it was quite reckless and a bit arrogant but who are we to judge? Each to his fate...
The front side that Bojan's crew is working on. What a mess of wires, eh? Just wait till they open up the hood... :D
The powerful engine packing loads of displacement and a whole football field of horses will drag you easily to wherever your heart desires. If we're talking motorcycling in lavish style, this flagship would definitely be the choice.
The make of this model is a limited edition of 999 pieces, and this particular bike bears number 229? Cool enough for you? :D
The pleasure of riding and the sense of freedom are in your mind, they don't dwell within the chassis of the bike you're riding. But, it is also true that a notion of a powerful beauty under your behind helps to create that feeling as soon as you turn the ignition key.
I can already hear the roar!
Enjoy your day! :-)

nice technology
Wow. Thats a beast. That fellow is really enjoying himself having that bike. Bojan is sure a master at pimping bikes. Very very cool dude. Ofcourse the coolest part is to know that your friend in Austria has the 229th It appears like the masterpiece is a heavy one,
but I guess even tiny riders probably can learn to handle a one like that. Hope the handling would be easy and sure to get that would require 1 bitcoin to purchase:) It really looks expensive.
I really know how cool it is while riding and playing music. I personally love loud music, now imagine it while riding on that bike, pleasure at its peak.
I believe people smaller in stature actually have an advantage when getting a motorbike. It's the tall folks, or those long in the leg like me, who are likely to hit limits on the comfort side of things, but i guess Bojan would be available to make the adjustments :)
From your description, this is a great combination of comfort and power Great post @velimir.
Lets see if we can get you the 2018 model, i am sure it will be a dream come true. :)
When i see this post i felt playing Michael Jackson - Beat it on my head :)
hahaha, I'd prefer Bruce The Boss for that ride if we're talking those years! say:
:D
Thats good one too. I was like motorbycyles and i was so crazy too but my motor life ended before start. I just living it in my
:)) I can feel it from the photos too :)
I hope to be a motorcycle driver someday.
motorcycle drivers under our house have a cage and their friends are always very enjoyable and fun :)
:)))
I will like to get this oneday because lagos is a city of holdup, this will be easy for movement and to avoid traffic.Nice post
You are awesome. And someday I will have my dreams. touring is the most ideal for me. Both sport and relaxed. But right now I'm running a scooter. Because the price is cheap :) @velimir
The fact that it has 2 wheels is the most important one, my friend! :)
Absolutely I agree. We like the wind. A passion that people who just feel the wind can never give up.
Soon I'll start sharing with my motorbike. I hope I can make nice shares like you :)
@velimir
WooooHoooo Another rider heard from. Feet in the wind is what counts friend! I look forward to your posts!
I hope I can be as successful as Ahmet. And you like it ..
Beauty. And your photography doesn't hurt the presentation a bit :) As normal it is wonderful.
I am NOT a Harley guy. I prefer a slightly forward riding position with the pegs right underneath my hips (On long laps I'll stand up to ease the butt stress). All that said, I qualify for the age minimum and can certainly appreciate the E Glide. It's a beautiful bike and really is incredibly comfortable. Part of the price for that comfort is sportiness and cornering ability (they drag hard parts very easily).
It's really cool that you have a place like Bojan's to hang out on a cold and miserable day. I love looking at other's motorcycles. It really is all about the ride.
Hey there, I am not a Harley guy, either! Especially not the one who rides covered up from head to toe in HD commercial items. I find it absolutely ridiculous. :D But, if I was to own one, a big chopper like this one, I wouldn't say no.
Hahahaha...
My first ride was on a '53 Indian that a friend of my father's bought when he was discharged from the Army. I have an incredible soft spot for the Indian name. I've ridden the new Chieftan and would take one of those in a hot second. If somebody gave it to me :)
And I look like a rolling goodwill advertisement when I'm riding. I almost always wear protective gear, but it is bought for comfort and price rather than style :) So nothing matches and logos are small or non existent.
My man! I'd love to try riding any Indian but haven't been succesful so far! :D
Cool Bike and Nice info @velimir, one I'll buy one from my steem money ;) .. a thumbs up for Electra Glide 2011 and a resteem from my side. cheers...
Did you get to ride it? It looks so comfortable. Id love for you to do one on a top Harlely bike.
no lol :) it was put apart even more after I left. and I wouldn't ask. the etiquette is to wait to be offered. It rarely happens. ;) but...maybe someday
These photos drove me crazy. They are super amazing.Someday I will buy a bike like this and asked my husband to take me around the country
-cheers-
easy now! :)
Wow how awesome. Once I was a child I made a trip from my city (CARACAS) to a mountain called Colonia Tovar in another state. It is a place where there is a colony of Germans in that place and that journey was made on a KLR motorcycle one of the most powerful and enjoy a lot that trip.
